Taco Bell just announced a super-cheesy new option to its menu: the Grilled Cheese Burrito.

The new burrito combines all of the flavors and textures you have come to expect from a Taco Bell burrito with the undeniably satisfying classic taste of a grilled cheese sandwich.

This menu item is definitely a handful (and a mouthful). It consists of a warm flour tortilla packed with seasoned beef, rice, sour cream, a three-cheese blend and crunchy red strips. The burrito is then wrapped in a layer of warm, toasty, grilled cheese.

If you would prefer a vegetarian version, simply swap the seasoned beef for beans.

Taco Bell showed the new item on Twitter.

“Nothing tops the Grilled Cheese Burrito… except melted, cheesy goodness,” they tweeted. “Grab the new $5 Grilled Cheese Burrito Box today.”

So how is it? Fans of the new burrito are sharing their opinions.

“Taco Bell has a little something called a Grilled Cheese Burrito now,” Jake Pierle (@JakePierle) tweeted,
“and it rules.”

A Twitter user named AJ (@ajbabyboi) gave it 99 out of a possible 100.

“Only reason why it’s not a 100/100 is I need to have it again so it’s not a fluke,” he posted.

“Chipotle sauce and red strips really bring this up a notch,” tweeted Dice D’Antoni (@ahoekman).

If you feel like you have heard about this menu item, it is possible. The restaurant first tested it last fall in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Available at participating Taco Bell locations throughout the U.S., you can pick up an individual Grilled Cheese Burrito for $2.99, or fill up with a $5 Box that also includes a Crunchy Taco, medium beverage and Cinnamon Twists. But it’s only around for a limited time, so if you are intrigued, you might not want to wait.
