From the moment they find out they are expecting, couples are getting super creative with their pregnancy announcements. Blogger and mother-to-be Kristin Johnston did just that: She took her maternity photos in a somewhat odd location that is nevertheless close to her heart: Taco Bell.
“Have you seen the most beautiful maternity photos on Pinterest? You know, the ones with the mom-to-be looking so glamorous and ethereal, standing majestically on a mountain in a flowing gown, or on the beach with an awe-inspiring sunset in the background?,” asked Johnston on her blog Stroller and Stilettos. “I guess you could say that I wanted something a little different, something spicier — and that showed me in my natural state :D.”

If you’ve ever been pregnant or know someone who has, cravings are a very real thing. Johnston’s cravings were none other than the fast food chain’s selection of Locos tacos, Crunchwraps, Quesaritos and all the other craving-inducing items that can be found on the menu.
According to her blog, this down-to-earth mom became a mother in March 2016 to first-born Sawyer. While expecting child number two, she decided to do something more personal and out-of-the-ordinary to commemorate the occasion.
Not only is Johnston a lifetime fan of the fast food chain, but asserted that she keeps them busy with her constant pregnancy cravings. The question really is why didn’t she think of this sooner? It’s genius and makes for a great story.

“I felt inspired to have my maternity shoot at one of my favorite places,” she explained in her post. “A place that I can turn to anytime I get a craving or just don’t have the energy to cook dinner — a place that many of us have a fondness for in our hearts – TACO BELL.”
The photos show Johnston in a stunning, form-fitting red dress (which can be found on Amazon in a variety of colors) posing with Taco Bell staples like hot sauce and tacos. Maybe Taco Bell should have paid her for this shoot? It’s enough to make anyone hungry.
Now if anyone wants to get married in a Taco Bell, the good news is you can do that, too!
