Taco Bell is releasing a new space-themed Freeze flavor in 2021

Taco Bell

Taco Bell is introducing a new frozen drink that is out of this world.

Instead of waiting for the warm weather of spring or summer to launch a new Taco Bell Freeze flavor (remember 2020’s Pineapple Whip Freeze?), the fast-food chain is kicking off 2021 with the new blue-and-purple swirled Midnight Berry Freeze.

The Midnight Berry Freeze is a blue-raspberry slush mixed with blackberry syrup swirl, and the frozen slush drink does look a bit like outer space.

According to the restaurant’s menu description, “if you want an escape that’s truly next level, you’ve got to go to Midnight Berry Freeze stargazing.”

However, though the Midnight Berry Freeze is on tacobell.com’s menu, we were not able to order it just yet — the menu says it’s not currently available.

Chewboom reported that the Midnight Berry Freeze won’t be released until 2021, and a regular will sell for about $2.59, with a large priced at $2.79. Chewboom also said a few lucky people in the U.S. have managed to find the Midnight Berry Freeze at their local Taco Bell drive-thru. So, if you’re out and about and want to give it a try, maybe stop by and see if you can score one.

In addition to the Midnight Berry Freeze, Taco Bell will also bring back the Blue Raspberry Freeze — which makes sense since it’s the main ingredient in the new drink.

And, while you’re ordering, don’t forget about the return of the wildly popular Taco Bell Nacho Fries, which popped up on menus on Christmas Eve.

Is anyone else getting hungry?
