Take a look inside the new wine bar coming to Disney World

If you’re headed to Disney World anytime soon, you’ll want to add a new attraction to your list of places to go—and it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day full of fun. Disney World is getting its own wine bar in early 2018, and the sophisticated new venue will be helmed by George Miliotes, who is one of only 230 master sommeliers in the entire world.

Disney World’s Wine Bar George will be the first wine bar in Florida to be led by a master sommelier. There will be over 100 wine selections available from around the world, all individually selected by Miliotes, and patrons can order small, shareable plates. The bar will seat up to 210 people, keeping the atmosphere cozy, and the decor will feature plenty of oak and warm lighting.

“Every menu item will complement selections on our wine list, bringing guests ideal food and wine pairings and culinary explorations,” Miliotes told the Disney Blog. “I’m thrilled to share my enthusiasm and passion for wine with every single guest. At Wine Bar George, guests will enjoy the trifecta of exceptional food, renowned wines and leave with as much wine knowledge as they wish.”

It sounds like the ultimate attraction in downtown Disney, and the pictures (and digital renderings) available so far on Wine Bar George’s Instagram page only confirm that. Here’s a view of the inside:

We think it looks like the coziest place ever to sit back and enjoy a glass or two of a nice full-bodied cabernet or a chilled chardonnay after a full day of playing in the sun with Mickey Mouse. Now, all we need is a way to send kids off to enjoy Splash Mountain while the parents sit back and learn all about what makes a good pinot noir from a master sommelier. We’ll drink to that!
