Take Your Kids To This Free Michaels Glitter Slime Event
Mark your calendar!
If you’re staying home this Memorial Day weekend, Michaels is having a free event that is sure to keep your kids entertained over the long weekend.
On Saturday, May 26 from 1-3 p.m., just head to your local Michaels store for a free MakeBreak Celebration Glitter Slime Event.
You do not need to preregister and supplies will be provided, included pre-made slime!
Just what exactly your kids will be doing with the slime isn’t really clear from the event description, but hey, who doesn’t love slime?!
It’s not secret that kids are pretty obsessed with slime right now. And on top of that, glitter is also having a moment, making this the perfect combination!
Flamingo Craft Event
Also happening May 26 at Michaels is a flamingo craft your kids can make while you shop!
For just $2, kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick paper project and for $5, kids age 6 and older can make a bit more complicated flamingo.
Enjoy Other Classes
If you won’t be able to make it to Michaels on May 26, there are a number of other events happening in the coming days as well.
Your kids can make a hand-lettered card on May 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (you should know that this one costs up to $37, depending on the sign your child makes!).
Or, they can make adorable sloth crafts on June 2 from 10 a.m. to noon (this one costs $2-$5, depending on your child’s age).
Sign Up For Camp Creativity
If one weekend of creative fun isn’t enough for your crafty kids, then you’ll want to get out those calendars now! Michaels will kick off Camp Creativity starting June 11.
The one-hour sessions run from 10 am until noon every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from June 11 through July 27. That’s almost a whole summer of fun for the kids.
And the cost is reasonable! For kids ages 3 and up, the fee is $3 per one-hour session (including supplies) and for kids ages 5 and up, you’ll only pay $5 (supplies included) per one-hour session.
And, it wouldn’t be camp without theme weeks, right? Here’s what Michael’s has scheduled for its weekly events:
Project plans include colorful picture frames, jewelry making, slime Fridays, and so much more!
Here’s a sample from week one!
