Target Deal Days Are Back To Compete With Amazon Prime Day

Target is once again offering multiple days of deals on the same day of Amazon’s Prime Day deals. But this year, while Amazon Prime Day will run June 21-22, Target is adding a bonus day of deals ahead of Amazon and offering three days of discounts, June 20-22.

Their biggest sale of the summer, Target’s Deal Days will include discounts on hundreds of thousands of items from electronics, essentials, home goods, toys, beauty and more, plus special limited-time deals. This year, for the first time, food and beverage items will also be included, which means you can even save some cash on your grocery bill.

Unlike Amazon, which requires a Prime Membership to get the deals, Target’s deals are available to all customers — no membership required. While you can shop in-store, you can also receive your items within a few hours using in-store pickup, drive-up pickup and same-day delivery with Shipt.

To help guests gear up for their shopping, Target is also offering 5% off Target Gift Cards online from June 16-19. Just head to their website during those dates and you’ll be able to purchase as many gift cards as you want, up to $500.

While Target isn’t saying what exactly will be on sale, it’s a good idea to browse their website and see if there’s anything you’d like to keep an eye on, just in case it does go on sale.

We can also take a look at what customers bought last year, as chances are some of the deals will be similar. Target says customers saved millions of dollars last year, and that the most popular items during Deal Days included Apple AirPods, KitchenAid mixers and popular toys. Best-selling brands during 2019’s Deal Days included Instant Pot, Vizio, KitchenAid and Dyson.
