Target is teaming up with Hunter to bring affordable boots, clothing and more

If you’ve taken a walk on a rainy day in the last few years, it’s likely you’ve encountered Hunter boots. The British brand’s iconic Wellington boots (aka, wellies) are hard to miss. In fact, they’ve been a rainy day staple since 1856.

Until now, the hefty price point (for example, $150 for the Women’s Original Tall Rain Boots) kept them just out of reach.

But that will all change when the Hunter for Target collection debuts April 14, with early access for REDcard holders on April 7. Like previous Target collaborations, the best part is the reasonable price tag. Most pieces in the Hunter for Target collection cost less than $30. There is something for everyone, no matter what your idea of adventure may be.

Clothing will be available in sizes XS to 3X for women, S to XXL for men and 18M to XL for children. We’re all jumping for joy, and we don’t even have an adorable yellow rain slicker yet!

Perfect Partners

Here’s what Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target, said about the collaboration in a statement.

“Hunter has long been regarded for its impeccable design aesthetic, rich heritage and playful spirit, and based on our research, it’s a brand our guests know and love. So a pairing between our two brands made perfect sense. From the very beginning, we worked with Hunter to develop a well-designed, affordable collection that’s all about fun, optimism and accessible adventure for the entire family. The colorful, all-weather pieces found in this line are made for enjoying the outdoors—rain or shine—on any budget.”

There will be a whopping 300 pieces available. That means rain boots, outerwear, home decor and much more. The collection is filled with bright, outdoor-ready pieces for the whole family (the perfect accessories for those days when you just want to frolick in a field, catching oversized bubbles with your kids!).

Festival Shop

If you live in the Los Angeles area, you can be one of the first to shop the collection. Target and Hunter are hosting a festival filled with family-friendly activities and music performances later his month. Stay tuned for additional festival details and ticket information coming soon from Target.

With new rain boots this cute, you might even find yourself doing a rain dance instead of wishing for sunny days.

When you head to Target to get your new spring rain boots, you probably won’t be able to resist grabbing at least a little something from Chip and Joanna Gaines’ new spring collection. The Gaines’ brand, Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, first launched at Target last November.

The spring line includes Easter decor, bakeware, serveware and even a few surprises for the little ones. Prices start at just $3.99—so you can copy Joanna’s signature style on the cheap.
