Target Worker Details His First Week As A Cashier, And It’s Downright Hilarious

In my experience, interacting with people can be pleasant or downright awful. There’s really no middle ground. So, I honestly believe that only the bravest souls could ever work somewhere like Target.

This viral account of a cashier’s first week at Target is proving me right. While some interactions were positive, some were not so great. And all in all, you have to be ready to face whatever the day brings you. So, before ever applying to work at this store, make sure you’re up for the task.

This worker gave out stickers to toddlers and was also told of an incident where someone had pooped in the baby supplies aisle. And according to the post, it was likely not a child. Does this jobs have its ups and downs or what?

The cashier interacted with moms buying bras for their super-embarrassed 16-year-olds and 80-year old women. There was even one woman who couponed her way from a $220 bill to a $55 bill. Impressive.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that all of that happened on the first day? Read more of the accounts below.

And if you just can’t get enough of these wacky stories, keep checking out Kimpossibooty’s Tumblr page or view the accounts on Imgur to read about the entire week. There are plenty more tales of delight and terror where these came from. All in a day’s work, when you work at Target, I suppose.
