The Kardashians are hiring an email marketing manager
If you’ve ever dreamed of being a celebrity — or at least working with one — now is your chance. That is, if you wouldn’t mind heading to California … and hanging out with the Kardashians.
Kardashian Jenner Communications is looking for an email marketing manager, with a focus on beauty products.
The job is posted on LinkedIn and although it may seem too good to be true, it is 100 percent real. Bible.
While watching “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is not listed as a job requirement, you will have to move to the Los Angeles area, as the full-time position is based in Calabasas, California.
Your resume does not have to include previously working with other celebrities, but you will need at least two to three years of experience in email marketing in the beauty industry.
The email marketing manager will be responsible for creating email campaigns for the famous family’s beauty brands — like Kylie Cosmetics and KKW Beauty — from start to finish, as well as analyzing the audience to find the best way to promote the products.
You’ll also be required to participate in weekly meetings, manage multiple teams and keep track of trends in the beauty industry — which could keep you pretty busy.
Other job requirements include running regular email performance reports and sharing insights with senior leadership, researching trends in marketing and running A/B testing in the email platform. They appear to be looking for someone who’s well-versed in marketing, a savvy communicator and someone who pays attention to detail, too. You’ll also need to have an understanding of audience selection, how to troubleshoot issues related to email marketing and maintain the email marketing calendar.
Forbes estimates that Kylie Cosmetics is worth nearly $800 million, bringing in more than $630 million in just a couple of years.
While KKW may not be worth quite as much, when the makeup line launched in 2017, it brought in millions and sold out in less than three hours. A total of 300,000 kits were sold and the product line made an estimated $14.4 million.
So, yes, needless to say, being in charge of email marketing for these products is a pretty big deal.
While the job posting does not say what you can expect to be paid, we’ll guess it will be pretty good money and it’s probably safe to assume you’ll amass a large collection of makeup (if you don’t have all their products already).
