The Reason Why Your Cone Coffee Filter Doesn’t Seem To Fit Right

If you use a cone coffee filter, keep reading. They never seem to fit correctly, am I right? Bright and early in the morning, when you need caffeine the most, you find yourself struggling to get that dang coffee filter to fit.

Well our friends at Huffington Post figured out why they don’t fit right: you have to fold them.

But why? In the manufacturing process, to make a cone, you have to press two edges together and seal them (hence the ridges).

So simply fold the ridges. And then it’ll fit just right. Mind = blown.
