A clear night sky is a truly memorizing and amazing sight. Sometimes I find myself staring at the endless stars and taking in the vast beauty. And it gets even better this week.
Starting on January 20th, you can see five planets from the southern sky. Early risers will be treated to quite the show. You’ll be able to see Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter at one time. The only planets you won’t be able to see with the naked eye are the farthest planets away – Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus.
According to Earthsky.org, this is the first time since 2005 all five will be visible.
How To View
The best chance to see all the planets will be by going outside of the city and escaping the light pollution. Once you are in a more remote area, look south right before dawn.
The planets can be seen from January 20th – February 20th.
