These Easter egg popcorn bars show off the prettiest pastel colors

Something Swanky

Easter is almost here, which means it’s time to start thinking about sweet treats for your family to enjoy. And these pretty pastel Easter egg popcorn bars are going to be a must on your Easter table this year!

The recipe for these popcorn bars is super simple. All you need is popcorn, butter, marshmallows and mini chocolate Easter eggs. If you want, you can also melt chocolate or caramel to drizzle on top of the bars.

White chocolate will make these bars look extra Easter-y and gorgeous, but you can also melt colored candy melts and drizzle the chocolate on top. Try these Wilton candy melts that come in spring pastels. Use a few different colors to give your bars lots of visual appeal, highlighting the hues of the season.

The nice thing about this recipe is that you can get creative and alter ingredients to suit your own palate. For example, you can use plain popcorn, buttered popcorn or even kettle corn in these popcorn bars. Pop your own in the microwave or with an air popper, or buy pre-popped corn such as Angie’s BoomChickaPop.

Or try this variation from It Bakes Me Happy. Emily makes her Easter popcorn bars extra special with the addition of bunny-shaped graham crackers and rainbow sprinkles. You can keep the Easter theme going by using pastel-colored sprinkles, such as with these pastel round confetti shapes.

As for the graham crackers, you can use plain, or you can try chocolate or even snickerdoodle. Or if you’d rather not use mini chocolate eggs, you can try adding in chocolate candies like M&M’s. There are many flavors and colors to choose from, but how perfect would the new White Chocolate Marshmallow flavor be?

What are you waiting for? Bunny hop over to the grocery store and get started on your popcorn bars!
