These new Harry Potter swaddle blankets are so cute

If you’re in search of the perfect gift for the Harry Potter-loving new parent in your life, you won’t find anything more adorable (and functional!) than these Harry Potter swaddle blankets from aden + anais.

If you’re not familiar with swaddle blankets, they’re crucial for when you’re trying to get a newborn baby to sleep. Wrapping babies snugly in a light muslin blanket helps them feel more secure and cuts down on their startle reflex, leading to more restful sleep (for everyone). Even after a baby is past the swaddling age, many parents still find the blankets useful as stroller or nursing covers.

Aden + anais is well-known for their high-quality swaddle blankets. For these three limited-edition blankets, the company found inspiration from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. One blanket features the golden snitch set against a background of blue clouds. Another is designed to look like Harry’s invisibility cloak, with blue and red stars and gold lightning bolts. Finally, the third blanket depicts Hedwig the Owl carrying a letter emblazoned with an “H” on it.

The set of three blankets retails for $59.95 and can be purchased directly from the aden + anais website. Individual swaddle blankets may also be purchased for $22.95 each.

In addition, the company’s Harry Potter collection also includes two thicker blankets, bibs and a sleep sack, all featuring the Wizarding World prints.

In a statement, Christina Campisi, aden + anais’ Director of Integrated Marketing, revealed what had led them to create the new designs:

“Many first-generation Wizarding World fans are now having families of their own, and we want to inspire them to continue passing down the Harry Potter fandom to their own children through this collection.”

Although it may be years before a baby learns to read, it’s never too early to introduce them to the magical world of Harry Potter!
