These Nutter Butter Sledding Penguin Cookies Are Almost Too Cute To Eat

CakeWhiz

The holiday season is upon us, which means it is time for parties, potlucks and nonstop baking. But if you want a break from the hot oven, oh, do we have an adorable cookie idea for you!

These sledding penguin cookies are totally Instagram-worthy but require no baking and very little prep work. Best of all, kids can join in on the fun.

All you need is a package of Nutter Butter cookies, candy canes, licorice and other candies to help you create these sweet little guys. You can find the full recipe from Abeer at CakeWhiz. She uses eyeball candies for the penguins’ eyes and sweet-and-sour candy strips for their little scarves!

As for the sled, it’s made with Nutter Butter cookies and candy canes, and the little orange penguin nose is made with the tip of a candy corn, so you can finally put some of that leftover Halloween candy to good use.

The result is bakery-worthy creations which are almost too cute to eat.

Looking for another sweet Christmas cookie idea? What about a “melted snowman” cookie? This recipe from Pillsbury is seriously sweet and easy to make. With the help of Pillsbury’s refrigerated sugar cookies, chocolate sandwich cookies, peanut butter cups, gumdrop candies and licorice, you can create a yummy sugar cookie that looks like a snowman melting into the snow.

So cool! Kids will love to help decorate (and eat!) these treats.

Or how about these adorable reindeer peanut butter Ritz holiday cookies? We think we’re in love! With nothing other than Ritz crackers, peanut butter, pretzels, chocolate, cinnamon candies and edible eyes, Mique at Thirty Handmade Days creates a lovely little herd of reindeer.
