This 5-year-old’s performance of a ‘Greatest Showman’ song will wow you

Dave and Claire Crosby are a father-daughter singing duo from Seattle, Washington, and their performances are seriously adorable. Dave has always had a lifelong passion for music and, from the time his daughter was young, he sensed she had also inherited his love and talent for performing.

The pair began performing Disney songs together and posting the videos to social media, and eventually expanded to pop songs and more. Their more recent performance of “A Million Dreams” from “The Greatest Showman” is so precious.

Claire and Dave have been at it for a while now, and their version of “You’ve Got A Friend In Me,” from “Toy Story,” Claire’s solo rendition of “Part of Your World” from “The Little Mermaid” and her duet of “How Far I’ll Go” with “Moana” star  Auli’i Cravalho are just a few of the performances that have made her a viral sensation.

Claire’s videos have been so successful that she’s appeared on “Little Big Shots” with Steve Harvey and on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” several times, and she was also cast in a live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid.”

Her dad also appeared as a contestant on “The Voice.” Watch Claire’s sweet reaction to his performance of “I Will Follow You into the Dark” by Death Cab for Cutie.

Here’s a shot of the two performing in front of a live audience, posted to Claire’s Facebook page:

Although Dave is extremely proud of his daughter’s success, he says he doesn’t put any expectations on her to continue performing if she’s no longer interested. He also concedes that internet fame can be fleeting in an environment filled with talented performers.

“With the internet there are so many of these mini celebrities,” Crosby told GeekWire. “She’s had some awesome success, but every day you find people on YouTube with a million subscribers that are these people you’ve never heard of before, that are doing awesome. The internet has just made it so easy for that many people to have that kind of success. It’ll be interesting to see if it gets bigger than that or just kind of stays where it’s at.”
