This adaptable bra changes sizes to suit your chest best

House of Anesi

If you’ve got various bras in various sizes scattered in a drawer somewhere, you’re not alone. It can be tricky to always fit into just one cup or band size. Your size can change depending on whether you’re wearing a strapless bra, whether it’s that time of the month, your pregnancy status, your chest (a)symmetry and even weight fluctuations.

Plenty of women understand just how impossible it can be to get the perfect bra size. Luckily, thanks to the Anesi Bra by House of Anesi, shopping for a brassiere that works for you — no matter your chest size — is about to get a whole lot easier.

The Anesi Bra is an adaptable bra that can adjust up to two cup sizes and two band sizes thanks to the elasticity of its fabric. The bra range is also more inclusive than that of other brands, offering sizes 30B to 42I. It comes in two styles: full coverage and balconette.

Besides solving the fit problem many women experience with their bras, those who designed this particular bra also claim that it minimizes back pain, sweat, red marks caused by straps on your shoulders and more. Could this be the answer to all of your bra-wearing woes?

While we’d love to give this bra a test drive right now, the product is still in the crowdfunding stages. It’s already met almost $40,000 of its $49,000 goal, though, so we’re almost there! If you back the product through Kickstarter, the company estimates that the Anesi Bra could be yours by March 2019.

Luckily, if you’re feeling impatient and want a new bra now, this isn’t the only product on the market that’s intended to improve the lives of bra wearers everywhere. Companies such as Evelyn & Bobbie and ThirdLove are also hoping to change the way women shop for and wear bras for the better.

Evelyn & Bobbie makes an underwire-free bra that’s made to eliminate back pain. In place of that flimsy underwire we all know and hate, there are instead three-dimensional support devices inside the cups of the bra, curved to the shape of your ribs, and flexible enough to mold to the shape of your body. This means that your core carries most of the weight of your breasts so that your shoulders don’t have to do all that heavy lifting.

And ThirdLove offers a Fit Finder quiz to shoppers before they make a purchase so they can find the bra that suits their needs. They also offer half sizes, which makes nailing the perfect fit easier than ever.

Shopping for bras should feel like an individual experience rather than a one-size-fits-all proposition, and companies like these are here to offer that service to women. Hallelujah!
