Perhaps the best part about fudge (other than eating it, of course) is that it is quite simple to make, yet still impressive. With just a handful of ingredients, you can make homemade fudge and wow everyone in your life. Need a holiday gift for your hair stylist? Fudge. Gift for your postman? Fudge. Your boyfriend’s great-grandma? Fudge. Your boss? Fudge. Your kid’s bus driver? Fudge. Got a problem? Fudge can solve it!

The beauty of this particular recipe from EatGood4Life is that it doesn’t require a candy thermometer or a double-boiler. No, with this recipe, you are just going to melt the white chocolate chips (Ghirardelli is preferred, but not a must) along with the condensed milk and Bailey’s. If you prefer another creamy liqueur (Rumchata, anyone?) go for it!

Fudge recipes are amazing because you can be as creative as you desire. For example, let’s say you hate pistachios…no problem! Then, add in some macadamia nuts or even cashews. Not a nut-fan at all? No worries. Toss in some chopped up chocolate cookies such as Oreos. You can also put marshmallow creme in the pot with the melted chocolate to add to the taste and texture of the fudge.

This recipe is simple to prepare, yet thanks to the luxurious holiday-appropriate ingredients (white chocolate, Bailey’s, pistachios) it would be ideal for a holiday gift. Wrap it up in a classy seasonal tin and tie a ribbon around it. Your lucky friends and family will think that you slaved over a hot stove for hours. And you will get to soak in all that love…and the leftovers.
