This company’s stylish scrubs help doctors and nurses look fashionable on the job

Scrubs tend to all look the same, unless you’re sporting a patterned pair around Halloween or Christmas. One company is upping the style ante, though, with a new line of scrubs that allows nurses, doctors and medical assistants to feel more on-trend when they head into the hospital or clinic every day.

The company is called Jaanuu, and their tagline is “Medical Apparel Reimagined.” The brother-sister founders, a pediatrician and an investor, came together in 2013 “to reinvent the medical apparel category with contemporary, runway-inspired fashion,” according to their website.

The various outfits for in-clinic wear let you be yourself and show a little style while remaining professional. Many pieces have the brand’s “signature” gold zipper, and you’ll see trends like lace-up tops and peplum across the line.

One of the more popular options is the Tulip Top, at $42. “This bestselling style features an elegant tulip hem, feminine detailing and a faux-wrap silhouette,” according to Jaanuu.

One reviewer, Vanessa, wrote about her new scrub top, “Much better than typical scrubs. Our clinic team has these and love them!”

Another popular option is the Women’s Essential 5-Pocket Jogger, a unique take on scrubs with a stylish, on-trend jogger look.

Female shoppers can choose from 17 different styles of tops, and each one comes in many different colors. There are 15 styles of pants, too, in coordinating colors. Tops start at $39 and pants start at $42, but if you can get your clinic on board, group discounts are available, too.

Even better for workers who know they’ll be taking care of sick patients all day? The fabric is antimicrobial.

On Facebook, the company told a potential customer that plus sizes are coming soon. They recently made tall sizes available, too, and even offer a stylish lab coat if you work in a lab rather than a clinic.

The only clothing conundrum doctors and nurses will face now that so many cute options abound is how to choose.
