The Keurig for alcohol can make everything from cocktails to beer
If you love the ease and convenience of single-serve coffee machines, then you’re going to go crazy for this first-of-its-kind libation machine.
Created by Drinkworks, a beverage innovation company owned by Keurig and Anheuser-Busch, this new machine is called the Drinkworks Drinkmaker. This gadget is essentially all you need to throw a party in the comfort of your own home.
Heck, you don’t even need to invite anyone else! This machine is also perfect for when you want a nice cosmo, for example, but don’t want to fight the crowds to get one.
That’s right. This is basically a full cocktail bar in one machine. Similar to a Keurig coffee maker, the Drinkmaker utilizes pods to deliver single-serve wines, beer and cocktails.
According to the Drinkworks website, each pod is a “crafted combination of premium spirits and natural flavors that make delicious and perfectly balanced cocktails.” Each pod contains the liquor necessary for the cocktail, whether that be tequila, rum or another spirit.
Using an onboard chilling and carbonation system, the drinks will supposedly come out at the ideal temperature, every time. Not to mention, each drink only takes around 30 to 60 seconds to make.
This revolutionary machine has launched in Missouri and Florida, the website says, and will come to California by April 2020. It will feature a selection of 15 different cocktail pods, including wine, cider and beer. The classics include the cosmopolitan, daiquiri, margarita, Moscow mule and Long Island iced tea.

The Drinkworks Drinkmaker also comes with what the company dubs as “the ultimate barback,” an app that monitors the machine’s needs, teaches you about new drinks and helps users make new pod purchases.
All in all, this seems like a great machine for those who like to host get-togethers. You won’t find yourself stuck behind the bar shaking up cocktails or having to worry about whether or not you have the necessary ingredients for every requested drink.
You can pre-order the Drinkmaker machine for $299 on the Drinkworks website.
Bottoms up!
