This man proposed with 16 dogs and it was ridiculously adorable

Nothing goes together quite like puppies and proposals. Just ask Laura Stampler, who recently said yes to Maurice Goldstein in one of the most epic proposals ever.

Goldstein dropped to one knee to ask Stampler to be his wife — but only after she hiked up Runyon Canyon to be greeted with a bed of roses and an a cappella group singing “Kiss the Girl” from “The Little Mermaid.” No big deal.

And if that wasn’t enough to make you absolutely swoon, as soon as Stampler said “yes” — 16 puppies were unleashed to surround the couple with pure joy and happiness.

Thankfully, Stampler’s photographer friend was there to capture the special moment on camera. As you can imagine, the couple couldn’t wait to share the news on social media, and the photos and videos from the big event have gone viral.

According to photographer Rebecca Yale’s Instagram, a “bouquet of dogs” is far superior to a bouquet of flowers:

Meanwhile, the bride-to-be noted on Twitter that releasing dogs would top releasing doves any day:

Agreed!

Stampler told Elite Daily that she and her now-fiancé met through a dating app. Stampler took a brief hiatus from the dating app world, so it actually took her quite some time to see the message Goldstein had sent to her. But when she did finally respond, things really took off.

“Months later, when I was ready to date again, I re-downloaded the app and up came a really old message from Maurice,” she told Elite Daily. “Anyway, I sent a very delayed response, he texted to ask me to drinks, and the rest is history. I haven’t gone on a date with another person since.”

And that date led to the most incredible proposal ever. This couple’s love story is definitely one for the books, though this isn’t the first time adorable animals have made engagements even better.

When Nick Kelble proposed to Hayley Roll, he did so right in front of Fiona the baby hippo. Roll posted about the special moment on Instagram, writing:

“We’re so happy Fiona could be there on our special day. Here’s to many more years of going to zoos with you.”

Aww!

Lesson learned — animals make proposals all the more special!

As for Stampler and Goldstein, they don’t have solid wedding plans just yet, as they only just got engaged — but they do realize they have their work cut out for them if they’re going to create a wedding that tops the 16-puppy proposal.

“We don’t have set plans yet, but it will definitely be in Los Angeles where we’re both from, although we both live in New York (and met in New York),” she told Elite Daily. “I don’t know if I’ll be able to out-do a bouquet made out of puppies though.”

We sure hope they find a way! Congratulations to the happy couple!
