With all of the weddings, graduations and other celebrations coming up this spring and summer season, you’re going to need plenty of champagne on-hand. And thanks to this new brand, your favorite bubbly beverage is now easier to transport than ever before.
Shamps has created sparkling wine in a can, so no need to worry about keeping a bottle (or four) on ice for your outdoor partying. These cans fit easily inside a cooler and can be enjoyed in your backyard, on the beach and almost anywhere else you go — no cork-popping necessary.
Each can contains sparkling wine made with all-natural, high-quality ingredients and no artificial flavorings, according to the Shamps website. There’s a 5% alcohol content level and 110 calories per can. So there’s absolutely no reason you wouldn’t want to have this around for all of your special occasions.
According to an Instagram post from the brand, all you need to get the party started is some confetti and several cans of this sparkling wine. With this combo, there’s no way you won’t be able to “#DrinkLikeAShampion”:
Of course, it doesn’t have to be a “special occasion” to enjoy a can of bubbly. As the brand shows on Instagram, this sparkling wine makes the perfect partner when dining in:
And just imagine how festive it could make a girls’ night or movie-viewing session feel!
It seems as though this drink is only available for purchase in the New York area for now but, hopefully, Shamps will become more widely accessible so that even more folks can get in on the drinking-champagne-from-a-can fun.
In the meantime, however, you may be able to sip on sparkling wine in a can from other brands. Underwood The Bubbles from Union Wine Co., for example, sells as a four-pack for $28, which can be ordered online:
The brand also has a sparkling rosé version if you prefer your alcohol pink. This one is also $28 for a four-pack:
There’s also a version from the Francis Ford Coppola Winery that offers a canned, effervescent version of their Sofia Blanc de Blancs wine. Not only is the can a fun, pink color, but each one comes with its own straw so you can easily sip from this portable bubbly wherever you go. It’s available as a single serving or as a four-pack from $20:
Who else plans to celebrate with cans of sparkling wine this season? We’ll raise a can to that! Cheers!
