This Tool Can Guess Your Personality Based On Your Facebook Likes

Cambridge University

You’ve probably seen a ton of personality quizzes floating across Facebook and the rest of the internet. Your friends share them, you can’t resist taking them, and most of them are just fun time wasters, not really based on that much data.

Now the University of Cambridge has a created a tool called Apply Magic Sauce that according to the website, “translates individuals’ digital footprints into detailed psychological profiles”. In other words, you login with Facebook, and it creates a detailed personality profile based on everything you like on Facebook.

The report isn’t super-accurate, but it hit enough nails on the head for me to wonder what exactly Facebook knows about me! (Hint: A LOT)
