This viral video shows pollen exploding off a tree

Facebook

Spring is great, because the weather is awesome and the flowers are blooming. But it also means your allergies are in full swing because of all the pollen in the air.

Want to see just how much pollen can come off of one tree? Well, Jennifer Henderson in Millville, New Jersey, said her husband works for the city and was doing brush clearing two weeks ago.

“He had picked up one of the branches and tapped it and was like, ‘oh my gosh.’ All this pollen fell off of it,” Henderson told BuzzFeed News.

So Henderson’s husband then wondered what would happen if he hit the tree with a backhoe, because that is the type of thing men do when they operate large construction vehicles.

Henderson took a video and, if you have allergies, you might want to grab a tissue because we’re about to drop a pollen bomb on you.

“When my husband said the pollen’s bad, I probably should’ve taken his word for it. Crazy!” Henderson wrote.

That is a lot of pollen. The video has since been viewed more than 6 million times. Because, I mean, just looking at it is enough to make a person sneeze.

Here’s another pollen-filled tree to tickle your nose:
