Husbands, pay attention. Tim McGraw is showing you how to do anniversaries. To commemorate 24 years of marriage to Faith Hill, the “I Like It, I Love It” singer posted romantic declarations of love on his social media accounts.

McGraw posted a slideshow of special moments the couple has shared during their marriage, using a clip from one of his new songs, “Hard to Stay Mad At,” as the soundtrack.

“These years have rushed by in a series of beautiful, painful and unexpected moments,” McGraw wrote on Twitter. “We have loved, laughed and cried through exciting, inspiring and heartbreaking events in our lives together.”

But he didn’t stop there. In another tweet, he waxed even more poetic, writing:

“The future will surely hold more of all of these things
It only matters if I’m with you
It only works if I’m with you
My oxygen only exists if you’re by my side
Forever and always living and loving our way through anything.”

McGraw and Hill share three daughters, Gracie, 23, Maggie, 22, and Audrey, 18. McGraw referenced the three kids during his tribute to their mom.

“U have been a role model for 3 remarkable young women who have made me a better man than I ever thought I could be,” he wrote.

Hill returned the loving sentiments in her own social media tributes.

“Happy Anniversary my love,” she wrote on Twitter along with a photo of the pair goofing off, and she described her husband as “the one that stole my heart 24 years ago today.”

In 2018, McGraw and Hill revealed what they think makes their marriage work. In an interview with People, McGraw said it comes down to spending quality time together.

“Funny, as we get older it’s less about the big gestures and more about just spending the time together at home,” he said.

But time apart is equally important. Hill revealed that she and her husband have separate dressing rooms to ensure that they can spend some quiet moments alone.

“We each have our own space to retreat to so we do get time to ourselves,” Hill said.
