Adorable Toddler ‘Saves’ His Sister In A Wrestling Match

Twitter

An adorable toddler stepped in to save the day when he thought his big sister was in a fight. A two-year-old boy, Jash, took it upon himself to rescue his four-year old sister, Ruby Lewis, when he thought she was in danger. In reality, Ruby was facing off against her opponent, Ryan, in a wrestling match. The whole incident was caught on camera by Ryan’s dad, and uploaded by his mom, Tori Allen Prendergast, to Facebook. Check out the sweet and hilarious clip below:

Too cute! “When the girl you’re wrestling has a tough little brother, don’t mess with his sister…..you won’t regret watching this video, promise 😂😂,” she captioned the video.

Although a referee quickly stepped in to break the whole thing up, the little boy’s valiant effort has captured the attention of the internet. The video went viral and has now been viewed almost half a million times and shared over 2,500 times.

People on Facebook were super-impressed by this adorably protective little brother:

Oh my God!!! If this is not the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen!!!” read one comment.

“This is parenting done right! Absolutely ❤️ it!” said another.

“I was working and missed the match, but when I got home he showed me the video and I knew we had to share it,” Prendergast told Huffington Post.“It was so cute. The whole place was cracking up when it happened.”

She added, “I only have boys, but if I had a daughter, I hope they would protect their sister like that.”

Ruby and Jash’s mom, Crystal Lewis, wasn’t surprised that her son stepped in to ‘save’ his big sis. “Some people’s kids are jealous of the next sibling down, and neither one of mine have ever been that way,” she told WNDU. “They’re always like, ‘That’s my sister.’ ‘That’s my brother.’”

What a loving set a of siblings!
