Walt Disney World is the most magical place on earth (that is, unless you’re a Disneyland diehard, then you might argue that it’s got competition on the other side of the country). 1. Buffalo Chicken Waffle Slider, Trilo-Bites, Animal Kingdom

2. Avocado Margarita, La Cava Del Tequila, Epcot

Mexico is a favorite destination within Epcot’s World Showcase. Take in the unique atmosphere inside the pavilion, which is bathed in perpetual twilight, as you beeline it to the tequila bar for the Avocado Margarita, made with melon liquor and fresh avocado, and served frozen with a hibiscus Himalayan salt rim. While you’re there, don’t miss the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, an all-ages boat ride cruising the highlights of Mexico.

3. The “Grey Stuff,” Be Our Guest Restaurant, Magic Kingdom

Venture inside Beast’s Castle in Fantasyland for delicious French fare in one of three themed dining rooms. End your meal with the “Grey Stuff,” a reference to Lumiere’s famous line from “Beauty And The Beast.” While it doesn’t sound yummy, this chocolate shell and cookie crème topped with the “grey stuff” truly is delicious. Pro tip: Be Our Guest is the only spot in the Magic Kingdom where alcohol is served, so you can enjoy a cocktail with your meal. 4. Breakfast Buffet, 1900 Park Fare, Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

You don’t have to stay at the Grand Floridian, one of Disney’s most beautiful (and pricey) resorts, to indulge in the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast buffet at 1900 Park Fare. Kids (and parents) will love the Mickey-shaped waffles and chance to meet characters such as Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Tigger and Winnie the Pooh. 5. Nudel Gratin, Biergarten and Sommerfest, Epcot

Word on the street is this favorite dish from the buffet at Biergarten, the main-attraction restaurant at Epcot’s Germany pavilion and a must-visit both for the food and great live entertainment, is now also available at the quick-service Sommerfest. Wash down this decadent baked macaroni and cheese custard with a cold German beer, as @turningthepages did:

7. Dole Whip, Aloha Isle, Magic Kingdom

8. Fried Wontons, Yak and Yeti Restaurant, Animal Kingdom

Epcot isn’t the only place for ethnic food at Disney. Check out Yak and Yeti, an Asian-themed spot at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Catch a great view of the parade, and don’t skip dessert. Beaches & Cream is a ’50s-style diner at the Beach Club Resort where you can chow down on sandwiches, shakes and arguably one of Disney’s best burgers. Grilled-to-order and topped with cheese, it’s sure to hit the spot after a long day at the parks.

10. Sustainable Seafood, Flying Fish, Disney’s BoardWalk Resort

Just because Disney World is a kids’ paradise doesn’t mean there aren’t elegant adult meals to be had. The Flying Fish Cafe at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, a nostalgic nod to turn-of-the-century Atlantic City, features incredible seafood dishes like the Ocean’s Bounty Sustainable Fish, served with a colorful vegetable mélange and potato beurre blanc, and Plancha-Seared Hokkaido Scallops. Pair with a signature cocktail or glass of wine from their sommelier-handpicked list, and you have a decidedly grown-up dinner.
