My husband and I love wine. Every time we go on a trip, we try to sample a new brand of wine, and if tasty, bring a bottle (or three) home with us.
Unfortunately, shipping wine is quite expensive. And after a failed attempt to bubble wrap and ship a Belizean bottle home in my luggage, I’ve only been bringing home wine on my road trips. Until now.
Fellow wine lovers, you can rejoice with me – I’ve found a suitcase designed specifically to transport wine!
The Wine Valise, by VinGarde Valise, holds up to 12 regular size (750mL) bottles (((yes a full case))) of wine. Inside the suitcase are carefully crafted “cavities” for your bottles to stay safe.
According to the case’s description, “The wine cavities are especially designed to hold a combination of bottles of almost any shape, from traditional Bordeaux and Burgundy, to Champagne and Riesling.”
With a polycarbonate shell, the suitcase is virtually indestructible, and when full, will weigh between 43-50 pounds. If you only want to check one bag, simply take out part of the customizable foam cells and put clothes in the extra space.
The suitcase comes in two colors: dark grey and silver and sells for $269.99.
Would you buy this?
