14 on-trend sunglasses you can buy on Amazon right now
It’s just a fact: Everyone looks cooler when they’re wearing sunglasses. Now that long, sunny days are upon us, we’re all going to need some sun protection for our eyes.
Amazon regulars know shoppers can find almost anything they need on the site, and that includes great styles and shapes of shades. If you’re in the market for a new pair this year, here’s a shortlist of sweet sunnies we scoped out on Amazon. From timeless classics to modern statement-makers, they’re all a couple of clicks away.
Quay OTL-II, $49.97
These ultra-trendy shades from hip Australian brand Quay are a reworking of their previous “On The Low” style. I’m kind of drooling over here.
Ray-Ban Round Sunglasses With Crystal Lens, $158
Reflective lenses are all the rage right now, and the round frame shape is a trend that’s hung on for several seasons now. While Ray-Bans will cost you more, you’ll know you’re getting a quality pair of sunglasses that never really go out of style.
SOJOS Classic Polarized Sunglasses, $14.70
Tortoiseshell never goes out of style. If it’s not your thing, though, this totally wearable frame comes in a bunch of different colorways. Some are slightly lower or higher in price, but they’re all under $20.
WearMe Pro Reflective Lens Round Sunglasses, $12.99
On-trend reflective lens? Check. Trendy-but-wearable round frame? Check. Insanely good price? Check.
WOODIES Walnut Wood Sunglasses, $27
Wood — whether faux or for real — is definitely in as a look for accessories. These unisex frames hang polarized, UV-protective lenses on their walnut arms, yet the makers say they’re 50 percent lighter than a pair of Ray-Bans.
Knockaround Premiums, $20
I’m a fan of clear frames. More colors are available in this Wayfarer-esque style, but the price remains steady at $20. Nice.
Le Specs Halfmoon Magic Polarized, $53.89
This French brand is blowing up right now — none other than Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, wore a pair while in New York City for her baby shower in February. She rocked their “Air Heart” frame, but this, the Halfmoon Magic style, is similarly glamorous.
Versol Aviators, $16.98
Ah, the mirrored aviator. Once the preferred frame of intimidating state troopers and hot-shot pilots, it’s now a wardrobe staple for all. This Versol take on the always-hip aviator is available in 10 combinations of lens and frame colors. The silver-on-silver pair shown here sells for $16.98, but prices vary for the other choices.
ATTCL Vintage-Inspired Polarized Sunglasses, $12.73
These vintage-inspired sunglasses come in a variety of frame and lens color combinations (this rose-colored option is pretty hip). With polarized lenses and a sporty-yet-chic vibe, these glasses are a steal for under $13.
Oakley Split Time, $193
Oakley is famous for its high-performance, super-sporty eyewear. We don’t usually think of Oakley as a trendy or fashionable brand, but these women’s shades look — dare I say it? — pretty fresh. I’m getting a subtle Elvis-in-Vegas vibe here. I dig. (This is another one where the price may go up or down, depending on your color scheme.)
Ray-Ban Wayfarer, $150
The one and only. Probably the coolest sunglasses ever made. The price is steep, but these beauties are forever immune to whims and trends.

WearMe Pro Bailey, $9.99
Keep your peepers protected in these ultra-hip, totally rimless sunspecs. The arms simply attach to a piece of polycarbonate that serves as both a lens and a shapely frame. (Shhh — don’t tell anyone, but the Amazon price is actually $5 cheaper than the price listed on the WearMe Pro website.)
13Fifty Miami Cat-eye, $29.98
Check out these suave shades. Their rich coffee color gently transitions into a summery, Caribbean blue. I think I’m ready to hit the beach.
Sojos Fashion Cat-Eye Oversized Sunglasses, $12.99
Flat lenses and cat-eye are both “in” right now. This black-and-gold pair feels really polished, though the brand also offers a mirrored lens version that’s a little edgier and also on-trend! And that $12.99 price tag will do!
These frames look fantastic on model Ellen Dumas’ smiling face, captured here by photographer Ray Leong:

Don’t forget to protect your eyes this summer. You can do so while staying totally on-trend with these gorgeous glasses!
