Troian Bellisario Is Expecting Her First Child With ‘Suits’ Star Patrick J. Adams

There’s a baby coming for former “Suits” star Patrick J. Adams and his wife, “Pretty Little Liars” actress Troian Bellisario. They are expecting their first child, according to E! News.

The couple is keeping a low profile. They were last seen attending the royal wedding, in support for Adams’ former co-star Meghan Markle, and baby rumors sparked when they vacationed on the Greek isle of Mykonos following the wedding.

The couple looked the part of royal wedding guests with their fancy ensembles, and they seemed more than happy to support Markle on her marriage to Prince Harry, despite the fact that it meant both Adams and Markle would be saying goodbye to the show.

Adams and Markle both had an understanding that the timing was right for them to make their exits from “Suits,” Adams told The Hollywood Reporter.

“Meghan and I were the closest because we were the youngest people in the cast and both came in with the least experience,” he said. “We grew up together over the course of the show. There was this natural sense that we both knew that the time had come for both of us. It went unspoken and we just enjoyed the hell out of the last few episodes that we got to shoot. We both knew that we wouldn’t be coming back,” he said.

Filming the show had meant a long-distance relationship with Bellisario, and that hardship was what first got him thinking about leaving the show.

“After seven seasons — really, eight years of being away from home and away from my now-wife and there was that pressure,” the actor said.

But now, the two can be together, settle down and, yes — start a family!

Bellisario and Adams were married in 2016 after getting engaged in 2014 and sharing a history as friends before that.

Their first date together wasn’t exactly the typical dinner and a movie situation, and the couple shared the story of how they met on their wedding day on Instagram.

“8 years ago we built a pillow fort in my old apartment and started a conversation that has grown into a whole life. It was just a quiet shared idea that became a yearly tradition. This year we invited some more people. A lot more. And we made a wedding out of it,” Adams wrote:

Bellisario shared the same image and also noted that it was also on a “Fort Day” that he proposed. Aw!

It’s so sweet that they always had this tradition to return to, especially since their busy filming schedules often kept the two apart.

Bellisario told People magazine that it took “constant coordinating” to see each other, but the couple made it work for them.

“It’s constant coordinating,” the actress told People. “It’s really hard to be away from the person you love, especially when they’re your rock and support system.”

She continued, “It’s a challenge but it’s kind of perfect because we’re such analytic, hyper intelligent people that sometimes just to be in each other’s faces all the time might have been too much for us,” she told People. “We’re really growing!”

And now that their family’s expanding, they’ll have plenty of coordinating and Fort Days to look forward to as a unit.
