Try this ‘heart attack’ craft for Valentine’s Day

Let your kids know how special they are!

Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday for letting the special people in your life know you care. And spreading the love doesn’t have to be relegated to romantic partners only. It’s also a great time to tell your kids how much you love them.

One cute way to express your love for your children this Valentine’s Day is to create a “heart attack.” No, it’s not the kind that will land you in the hospital. Instead, consider doing what Cindy Hopper from Skip To My Lou did and cut hearts out of construction paper, writing nice comments and messages on them about why you love your children so much.

You can then affix one to your child’s door every day from February 1 on, leading up to Valentine’s Day on February 14. What a creative and cute way to let your kids know how special they are!
