44 TV shows that just got canceled

CBS

It’s that time of year again—when network executives make the decision about which shows to cancel and which to renew for the upcoming season. This year, 44 shows from various networks got the ax—or simply came to the end of the series, as in the case of shows like “Girls,” “Bones” and “Vampire Diaries.”

On the plus side, this makes room for new TV shows to take their place. Here’s what will no longer be on the airwaves when fall TV returns.

1. “2 Broke Girls” (CBS)

“2 Broke Girls,” with Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, will end after a total of six seasons.
