Two Lady Antebellum band members have babies on the way
Lady Antebellum band mates Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood just announced some exciting news via Instagram. And no, it’s not about a new tour or an album that’s about to drop. Instead, the musicians took to the photo-sharing site to let fans know that they are each expecting babies with their respective spouses.
Double joy! They posted the news alongside an adorable shot of their current children:

As the caption indicates, Hawyood is expecting his bundle of joy come December, while Scott is due in February. Scott’s new addition to the family will join Eisele, her 4-year-old daughter with husband Chris Tyrrell. Hawyood and and wife Kelli Cashiola will be welcoming a little sibling for their 2-year-old son, Cash. The band’s growing brood of children also includes fellow bandmate Charles Kelley and wife Cassie’s 18-month-old son, Ward Charles, pictured in the post.
Fans on Instagram chimed in with their congratulations for the expectant parents:
“What a great picture! They are adorable. Praying for healthy pregnancies,” read one comment.
“Congrats!!! So exciting for the Lady Antebellum family!!! Love you guys! The littles are adorable!!” said another.
The band previously dished to People back in January about balancing parenthood and their music careers. When the band got together to record their latest album, “Heart Break,” their spouses took over the bulk of parenting duties to allow the musicians to delve into the creative process.

“I love it, and it’s the most beautiful thing in the world, but you can’t work in the studio till midnight when you have a kid at home,” said Kelley. “So my wife took over on that one.”
When the band does hit the road again, Scott says her kids will be in tow. “We did the tour in Europe when Eisele was a little over a year old and it was the longest we were ever away [from her]. I swore I would never do it again,” Scott told the magazine. “So she’ll be with us, pretty much everywhere. The world spins right when we are all together.”
Congrats to the growing families!
