The United States Depicted As Food Is The Most Delicious Map You’ll Ever See

Food is a universal language. So, if you’re looking for a way to unite a country, there’s no better way to do it than through the one thing we all love the most in life. That’s right— a good meal.

Forget presidential elections and political parties. You really want to bring us all together? Think potluck.

The folks at food gadget shop Foodiggity had the right idea when they created 50 prints dealing depicting each of the states as a food.

They titled the collection The Foodnited States of America, and honestly, I’ve never been more proud to be an American than when I saw these downright delicious depictions.

See a sampling of what the collection had to offer here:

1. Alaska

I’d eat a waffle shaped like Alaska, wouldn’t you? I can’t think of a better way to show pride for a state, in fact.

2. California

I feel this is appropriate, given that California is one of the healthiest states and all.

3. New Jersey

Now that’s punny.

4. Michigan

I couldn’t think of a more accurate representation for the state of Great Lakes.

5. Wisconsin

This is quite an appropriate name for a state that loves cheese as much as this one does.

6. North Carolina

Lima beans? For a southern state? Genius.

7. Deleware

A sate made entirely out of Nutella? Now that’s where I want to live! Simply because who doesn’t love Nutella?

New Spamshire? Haha Get it?

9. Vermont

Ice cream is an appropriate way to represent this state. I mean, it is home to Ben & Jerry’s, after all.

10. Oregon

This one’s making me hungry just looking at it.

11. Colorado

That avocado pit seems kind of like a giant mountain, which is quite fitting for this mountainous state. Good thinking, Foodiggity.

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting hungrier by the minute.

Didn’t see your state? Well, there’s plenty more where that came from if you follow Foodiggity on Instagram or check out their Facebook page.

If you like the idea of hanging up these food-inspired pieces of art (and why wouldn’t you?), you can shop each of the prints for $10 here. You can also purchase one giant version of all of the Foodnited States for $26.99, and that’s a print worthy of hanging on a wall if I’ve ever seen one.

United we stand, divided we fall. As far as the delicious food in every state, I’ll try it all. And it just doesn’t get more unified than that!
