Use This Trick For Cutting Apples To Keep Them Fresh All Day

Fall is approaching very quickly. It’s one of my favorite times of the year. What’s not to like? You’ve got football, sleeping with the windows open, beautiful foliage, and of course the apples (Honeycrisps are my favorite).

Apples are a great addition to lunches and provide a healthy snacking option.

However, it can be a real pain to cut them up and keep them fresh. Luckily, Grant Thompson, shows us this amazingly simple trick to quickly, easily and safely cut an apple and keep it fresh all day.

Here are the 3 steps:

  1. Turn the apple upside down (on its top) as it will balance better.
  2. Cut the apple as if you are laying out a tic-tac-toe board with your knife.
  3. Keep the cut pieces together until you are ready to eat (a rubber band is perfect for this).
