Using Makeup To Contour Your Legs, Are We Taking It Too Far?

Just when you thought you’d mastered the whole face contouring thing (unless you never did, like me), there’s yet another body part that the Internet wants you to start contouring. But listen to me— you really shouldn’t waste your time with this one.

I mean, seriously, contouring your legs to look more toned really has taken it too far, don’t you think? Sure, we’ve all heard of self-tanning so we can look as though we’ve indeed seen the light of day before, but doing full-on contouring techniques to this much of your body really is a bit much, if you ask me.

Not only do I have neither the flexibility nor the time to do this for myself, I really don’t see the point in this latest beauty trend. Don’t heels already make your legs look more toned anyways? Seriously ladies, how far are we willing to go?

Whether you’re totally against the idea of leg contouring for yourself or not, this video that shows just how it’s done is pretty interesting. I can’t help but shake my head as I watch, however.

There’s no denying that’s fascinating. But, it’s definitely not for me. Let’s just add this to the list of contouring trends that have passed me by.

I’m perfectly fine living with my legs just as they are, you know, without living up to any sort of tanned and toned standards, thank you very much!
