This Video Game Lets You Nurture And Take Care Of Plants For Stress Relief

Ice Water Games

Most video games are designed to ramp up your adrenaline. But this one is different, very different.  In the Virdi video game, you get to pick and care for a pot of plants that grow over time.

On their website, their mission is simple: “We want your pot to be a safe haven, a place you can return to for a moment of peace and quiet whenever you need it.”

At the virtual nursery, you can learn about different types of succulent plants and pick the ones you want to grow. Then you get to choose your desired pot design and nurture your plants.

But if you over-water them, or crowd your pot with too many plants, they may not survive. Remember this little Tamagotchis? It reminds me of that.

In the release trailer, the music is soothing, like something you’d hear at a spa. Honestly, it might be a nice little stress-free break in my sometimes hectic days.

You can play the game for free, and buy seeds for only a few cents (optional). Would you give it a try?
