They say that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. I’m guessing that was the logic behind a Kentucky’s man’s decision to take matters into his own hands when he needed assistance from an employee while shopping at Walmart — that or he was just a bit impatient.
Forrest Hunter was hoping to buy a hunting license and when he couldn’t find a store employee to help him, he got on the store’s intercom and made an announcement.
“Customer needs assistance in sporting goods, please,” he said.
In case there was any confusion, he also added, “I’m the customer.” Luckily, the hilarious incident was captured on video:
Pretty funny! Hunter’s stunt worked, and an employee quickly showed up to assist him.
“A guy walked up and asked if I️ needed any help. I️ said, ‘How’d you know?’ Then I️ bought my hunting license,” Hunter told CBS affiliate WKYT.
People on Facebook thought Hunter’s cheeky move was pretty amusing, and it has now been viewed more than 3 million times and been shared more than 63,000 times. Hunter posted the video on April 20, and he didn’t realize how popular it had become until three days later, by which time it had already been shared more than 32,000 times.
