This Wacky Gadget Turns Wine Bottles Into Wine Glasses

I’m going to file this one under “Why didn’t I think of this first?” It’s so obvious, and I could’ve made a bunch of loot. Sadly, the Guzzle Buddy is somebody else’s invention.

The concept is very simple. It’s a wine glass that attaches directly to the bottle. While the aesthetics might leave you a bit self-conscious in public, it sure looks like an efficient way to drink wine in the comfort of your living room while binge-watching Netflix, right?

Here’s what it looks like by itself—note the kind of threaded stem there.

And there it is connected to a bottle. Amazon helpfully notes that “as you tilt the bottle, the guzzle buddy gently aerates the wine giving you a whole new drinking experience.” Featured on “Ellen”, “Live with Kelly” and across Facebook, it has become quite the popular novelty item.

The marketing department scored with the tag lines, too. “Pouring is boring,” and “Plug it and chug it.” It is available on Amazon for 21.99. Customers have rated it 4.8 out of 5 stars, which is pretty good if you ask me.
