“Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again,” the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2008 musical comedy “Mamma Mia!” just hit theaters nationwide on July 20. The first movie, which was based on a stage musical by the same name, stars Amanda Seyfried as Sophie, a young woman who secretly invites three men she believes could be her father to her wedding, much to her mother’s (Meryl Streep) chagrin.

The original movie heavily incorporates the music of Swedish pop group ABBA, and even takes its title from one of their hits, “Mamma Mia.” Another one of the band’s biggest hits, “Dancing Queen,” is also in the film. On July 18, Seyfried stopped by “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” and performed a hilarious rendition of the popular song — except it had a little twist.

She sang the song as part of a recurring segment on the show, “Google Translate Songs,” in which guests sing songs with lyrics as they were translated into another language and back into English again using the Google service. After “Hula Prince,” host Jimmy Fallon takes a stab at another ABBA classic, “Take A Chance On Me,” which through Google Translate, becomes “Steal My Sad Clocks.” For the last song, Seyfried and Fallon sing together for a duet of the titular song, “Mamma Mia,” which is translated to the much less catchy, “My Mom Arrived.”

Too funny!

While on the show, Seyfried gushed about her co-star in the film, music icon Cher, and told Fallon just how nervous working with the living legend made her.

“She’s the funniest, most honest person I’ve ever met,” Seyfried told Fallon.  “I was so nervous, so intimidated that the first day I met her I was just like, I didn’t want to be in her way. I was like, ‘Hey, I play Sophie, I’m your granddaughter. So excited that you’re here. Boy, it’s gonna be fun! I gotta go, I’ll let you to it.’”

The interaction led Cher to believe Seyfried wasn’t interested in getting to know her, but the two cleared it up the next day.

Seyfried said she told Cher, “We all want to hang out with you!” Fallon laughed and jumped in to say, “You’re Cher — everyone wants to hang out with you!”

Will you go see the movie? It might be your only chance to hang out with Cher!
