Cooper and Gaga co-star in the upcoming film, “A Star Is Born,” a remake of the 1937 movie of the same name that starred Janet Graynor as an aspiring actress and Frederic March as a fading movie star who helps her achieve success.
Over the years, the story has been adapted and remade several times, including as episodes of radio shows and twice as movies. The 1954 film remake featured Judy Garland and James Mason, while the 1976 movie starred Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
The latest iteration has been in the works for some time but the release date was shuffled around several times. Bradley Cooper plays a has-been country music star who discovers an emerging talent played by Gaga. They develop a romantic relationship that starts to sour when her fame begins to surpass his.
Now, the trailer for the highly anticipated movie is here, and it shows these two leads in a whole new light. Check out the video:

Lady Gaga Returns To Acting
This is not the first time Gaga has tried her hand at acting, as she also played roles in the TV anthology series “American Horror Story,” and even earned an Emmy for her portrayal of the vampire countess in “American Horror Story: Hotel.”
Her performance earned her a 2016 Golden Globe award for best actress in a limited-series or TV movie.
“I wanted to be an actress before I wanted to be a singer,” the artist said through tears during her acceptance speech. “But the music worked out first.”
She called the win “one of the greatest moments” of her life.
Her part in this movie marks her first starring role in a feature film, however.
The film also stars comedian and actor Dave Chappelle, who plays an old friend of Cooper’s character.
In addition to Cooper, Gaga and Chappelle, young Broadway star (“Hamilton”) Anthony Ramos appears in “A Star Is Born” as aspiring dancer Ramon, who is Lady Gaga’s character’s best friend.
Ramos expressed his excitement over his role and the new trailer on social media when the trailer was released.

You can also catch actor Sam Elliot and comedian Andrew Dice Clay as supporting players in the remake.
“A Star Is Born” is also Cooper’s directorial debut, and the multi-talented star did not rely on any pre-recorded tracks for his performances in the film, as Gaga insisted they sing live. They even recorded some of their performances for the movie at huge music festivals like Coachella and Glastonbury.
