John Cena Proposes To Nikki Bella At WrestleMania 33
He may have some sweet moves in the ring, but nothing tops John Cena’s sweetest move ever: proposing to longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella in front of 70,000 people at WrestleMania 33.
He popped the question on April 2, getting down on one knee right in the ring to ask Bella to marry him. Of course, it was all on video, so don’t worry if WrestleMania isn’t on your watch list. You can still check out the proposal:

The sweet moment came after Cena and Bella defeated The Miz and his wife, Maryse, in a tag-team match. Before the proposal, The Miz and Maryse had ridiculed the couple, saying Cena’s ego leads to him loving himself more than Bella. During the proposal, Cena pulled out a ring and used Bella’s real name to propose to his girlfriend of almost five years.
“I have been waiting so long to ask you this,” he says. “Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?”
Bella appears to get teary-eyed and, of course, said yes. While it’s no secret there’s a lot of acting in wrestling, those tears of joy appear to be the real deal!

“I never actually would have thought that he would have proposed in front of all those people, but that’s home for us, WWE is our home, it’s where we met, it’s our passion, it’s our life,” Bella told TODAY. “Honestly, I could not ask for it to be any other way.”
This will be the second marriage for both of them, and while Cena once said he didn’t want to get married again, it sounds like all it took was the perfect match.
“I found the absolute right person,” Cena said. “I found a strong person [who] I consider an inspiration, an equal, somebody who when I’m feeling down picks me up…. It took a person that strong to change my view on life.”
