Watch Will Smith Take On ‘Carpool Karaoke’ For First Episode Of New Series
There’s no denying that “Late Late Show” host James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke segment is crazy popular—so popular, in fact, that it is now the focus of its own show!
The first episode of “Carpool Karaoke: The Series” is now on Apple Music, with two new episodes set to premiere each week. A clip from the first episode was just released, and it’s sure to make you wish you were along for the ride.
Unbuckle your seat belts because the first episode will have you “Gettin’ Jiggy” with none other than Will Smith!
Smith and Corden start off with the hit 1998 song, then follow it up with “Boom! Shake the Room” from 1997.
If that’s not enough, the episode goes all out and features a marching band to assist with the tunes. Smith and Corden are even seen crashing a wedding and singing “I Believe I Can Fly” from a helicopter. It just does not get more epic than that, people!
Like any good late-night host, Corden also interviews Smith a bit about how he got his start and what the future might hold-including a possible portrayal of former president Barack Obama.
“He told me felt confident that I had ‘the ears’ to play the role,” Smith said.

Judging by the sample clip, it’s not just Smith’s episode that will be a little different than what we’re used to.
It doesn’t even look like it’s Corden driving around celebrities every time; sometimes, celebrities are driving around other celebrities! Like John Legend driving around Alicia Keys, for example, which is sure to be amazing!
It’s not all musicians either—so while you’ll see bands like Metallica make an appearance, LeBron James and Gwyneth Paltrow are also set to appear as guests on the new version of the show.
You can register to test out Apple Music and watch “Carpool Karaoke: The Series” for free for three months.
After that, it’s $9.99 per month for an individual membership or $14.99 per month for your family (up to six people can access the family account).
