Wendy’s Is Giving Out Free Baconators All Week
Here's how you can get one!
If that whole getting-healthy-after-the-holidays thing just isn’t happening this year, great news: Wendy’s is offering free Baconator hamburgers through Feb. 4 when you order their food with the DoorDash delivery service.
The complimentary bacon-loaded burger comes when you spend at least $10 on food, and DoorDash’s delivery fee is waived, too. The chain announced the deal on their Twitter account on Monday afternoon, writing the coy message, “Heard y’all like bacon.”
An hour later, the account tweeted out a GIF of bacon raining from the skies. In the caption, the company shared the promotional coupon code, “FREEBACONATOR.”

Make sure you’ve got some big appetites at your house, though, because the Baconator is no joke. It consists of six slices of bacon layered between two hamburger patties that total a half-pound of beef. Plus cheese! And remember, you’ve got to order $10 worth of food on top of that too in order to get the deal.
Of course, all the usual conditions apply to the promotion. There are possible “surge fees” for ordering during certain times via Door Dash, as well as the required tip for the driver. There’s also a limit of only one Baconator per person.
Bacon fiends also have to live in an area with participating Wendy’s restaurants. And the offer’s not available for dine-in or drive-through meals.
In a sign that the fast-food wars will never truly end, it’s probably not a coincidence that McDonald’s is rolling out a few new bacon-accented menu items this week. Those include the Big Mac Bacon and Quarter Pounder Bacon, which each feature three slabs of thick-cut applewood bacon on top of the usual burgers, and the Cheesy Bacon Fries, which will be blanketed with cheddar cheese and smoked bacon bits.
Your move, Burger King.
