Wendy’s now has Frosty cookie sundaes

The Frosty is a longtime Wendy’s staple. But this age-old favorite just got a 2019 update. Yup. You can now order a Frosty Cookie Sundae. What’s that, you ask? Oh, just your favorite Wendy’s soft serve topped with Chocolate Chunk Cookie bites and Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce.

You can choose either chocolate or vanilla as your sundae base — or you can go wild and order one of each. After all, a menu addition like this only comes around once in a blue moon… and we can promise you that it won’t be around forever. These cookie sundaes are a limited-time offering, so enjoy them while you can.

According to Brand Eating, a Frosty cookie sundae costs around $1.79 (though prices will vary based on your Wendy’s location). In comparison, a small vanilla or chocolate Frosty costs 99 cents.

There are 390 calories in a Vanilla Frosty Cookie Sundae, and 410 calories in a Chocolate Frosty Cookie Sundae.

But don’t stress about the cals for this new treat. If you want to save room for dessert and keep it light, skip the burger and order a salad from the Wendy’s menu, like their new Parmesan Caesar Chicken Salad, which comes with romaine lettuce and grilled chicken breast.

Topped with Parmesan crisps instead of croutons, this flavorful salad is keto-friendly and packed with protein and healthy fats.

“Some people think they have to forfeit flavor for a quality, feel-good food option, but that just isn’t true,” Wendy’s Executive Vice President, Kurt Kane, explains in a Wendy’s press release. “Not only do Wendy’s salads taste great, they’re made with fresh produce in-restaurant every single day.”

Of course, these new Frosty cookie sundaes don’t exactly count as healthy, but it’s all about balance, right? With so many salads to choose from, you won’t have to feel guilty when you indulge in a sweet treat for dessert.
