Artist Yayoi Kusama created an installation at the  Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, called The Obliteration Room. To start with a blank canvas, every wall and piece of furniture was painted white.

Over a course of two weeks, children that visited the museum were given colored stickers and allowed to decorate the room as they pleased.

As you can see, the results are rather cool!

This is so neat, and a great way to get kids engaged in creative thinking activities. Every children’s museum should have an art installation like this!
