Pickles have been having a moment for a while now, and they’ve shown up in everything from mozzarella sticks to pizza. And one of the easiest ways to make almost any food instantly tastier is to deep-fry it, which is why White Castle’s fried pickles were such a hit when the fast-food chain first introduced them back in 2017.

Although they did not become a permanent menu item, White Castle has announced that the tasty snack will be back on the menu for a limited time. The crunchy, panko-crusted fried pickles are part of a special summer menu that’s all about enjoying the warm weather.

Check them out, as seen on @Cosmopolitan’s Twitter account:

People on the Internet have expressed a little bit of excitement. Here’s a Twitter post from Minneapolis/St. Paul radio host Mike Dubs at @mikedubs:

User @JasmineSade5 was all smiley faces as she spread the news on her Twitter account:

And @LovePink_O just makes quick statement about how much she likes them:

In addition to fried pickles, the limited-edition summer BBQ bash menu will feature the BBQ Brisket Slider, 99¢ BBQ Original Slider and the BBQ Impossible Slider, which is a meatless option. All three sandwiches are topped with Bull’s-Eye barbecue sauce and onion crisps. Sounds delish!

There’s also a lineup of Summer Smoothies to wash it all down, including the new Tropical Smoothie, made with mango, pineapple and banana. The Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie and the Strawberry Banana Smoothie are also available. These new menu items are available at most locations for a limited time or while supplies last.

“Whether you’re enjoying a barbecue with friends and family or a nice day by the pool, our limited-time summer lineup has every option needed to quench your cravings and keep you cool and refreshed,” Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle, said in a press release.

To up the fun factor, customers who dress up in western apparel on Wednesdays beginning May 1 can score two free BBQ original sliders with any purchase. And if you’re into digital-only exclusives, go score BBQ Bash combo deals for $7.99 or $14.99, valid online and in-app only. Giddy up!

Are you hungry now?
