“Will & Grace” fans, get excited! Everyone’s favorite sitcom is well underway, and the first few days of shooting look like they have been going splendidly.

Debra Messing just shared a personal video of the first day on set on her Instagram page, and now we’re even MORE excited for the new season:

First of all, can we talk about how amazing everyone looks, especially Debra and Megan? Do these women just not age or what?

Second of all, it was also just recently announced that the reboot is NOT going to include the events of the series finale, which sounds like a good plan.

As executive producer/creator David Kohan told Entertainment Weekly, “We frankly did not want to see them being either good parents or bad parents. We wanted them to be Will and Grace.”

I agree! Series reboots can always be iffy, especially if there is too many big changes to the cast or original storyline. Will, Grace, Jack and Karen were always at their funniest when they were dealing with dating, love, and sex. And if they were raising teenagers, that definitely would have put a different spin on things.

The series will likely poke plenty of fun at our current political climate which is fitting since they first tantalized our tastebuds for a revival with a short, 10-minute episode meant to encourage viewers to get out and vote in 2016.

More TV Reboots On The Way Besides “Will & Grace?”

2017 is certainly shaping up to be the year of series reboots. Along with “Will & Grace,” NBC is looking to revive “E.R.”, “The Office” and “30 Rock.” And, there are rumors regarding a revival of “Frasier,” “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “The West Wing.”

What do you think? Do you think television series reboots are getting out of hand? Do you want new shows or more of your old faves?

Whatever the case, don’t forget to tune into the new “Will & Grace” season! It premieres on Thursday, Sept. 28 on NBC at 9/8c.
