“Will and Grace” fans were thrilled to hear that the popular television show would be coming back for the 2017-2018 season.

However, here’s even better news: It was just revealed that the television network decided to order even more episodes for our viewing pleasure. Yep, we are going to get another heaping dose of Will, Grace, Jack, Karen, and of course, Rosario! There will be twelve new episodes, to be exact (the plan back in January was to release 10).

The cast are being tight-lipped about what we can expect from the upcoming new season, but it’s going to be a look at where our favorite characters are now, a decade after the series finale in 2006. When the finale aired, an average of 18 million viewers tuned in.

As you recall, the one-hour finale was full of surprises. We learned that Grace opted not to raise her baby with Will (as previously arranged) and instead wanted to make it work with Leo (Harry Connick Jr.) As a result, the famously tight-knit friends have a falling-out that lasts for years… and it isn’t until their respective children are in college together that they finally make up.

Meanwhile, Jack becomes filthy rich after inheriting Beverly Leslie‘s fortune. (Remember when Beverly blew off the balcony!?) Jack and Karen live together in a mansion while caring for Rosario, who is confined a wheelchair. The episode ends with the four friends gathered together in a bar, and Will makes a beautiful toast to “To family and friends that accept you as you are.” Aww.

Of course, the whole revival of “Will and Grace” was brought about thanks to their special election episode. The cast came together during the 2016 Presidential Election for a short episode in order to encourage people to get out and vote.
