A Willy Wonka-Esque Chocolate Factory Is Coming To Universal CityWalk

Universal

Our lives just got a little sweeter—or will soon. Yep, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory is coming off the big screen and to Universal Studios in Orlando.

According to the park’s blog, The Toothsome Chocolate Factory will open later this year and take you back to a 19th century-era Steampunk chocolate factory.

So, it’s time to indulge in your sweet tooth… and what better a place to do so than at a theme park like Universal?

The factory will have all sorts of fun amenities, like tall smoke stacks and staff in period costumes. Naturally, there will be food (from burgers to pasta), desserts (a key lime pie cheesecake milkshake, anyone?), and, of course, chocolate (which we’ll get to in a second).

Of the upcoming items, the Bacon Brittle Milkshake sounds out of this world and features bacon ice cream, as well as chocolate-covered bacon, bacon caramel, and bacon brittle. Yum.

And, a chocolate factory’s not a chocolate factory if you can’t watch the sweet treat being made, which you’ll be able to do at Toothsome.
