This woman transforms herself into Disney characters using just makeup and her hijab

Saraswati of the @queenofluna Instagram account takes the term “makeup artist” to a whole other level.

Instead of the usual makeup tutorials you might expect to find online, she uses her skills to transform herself into Disney characters, and it’s quite impressive. And not only has she made herself look like the typical princesses—Ariel, Jasmine, etc.—but she’s also recreated unexpected characters such as Ursula from “The Little Mermaid” and Scar from “The Lion King.” These amazing transformations only prove how truly gifted she is with makeup.

Because of her incredible skill, she’s gained quite the following on Instagram. At the time of publication, she had nearly 400,000 followers, and we have a feeling that once you get a load of these looks for yourself, she’ll gain even more fans.

Based on the posts’ captions, she’s using nothing more than traditional makeup and face-painting products to create these looks, but it’s the addition of her hijab that really brings them to life. She’ll switch up the color and how she styles them to suit each character, and the end results really are fantastic. Take a look at a few of her masterpieces below.

Here she is as Ariel from “The Little Mermaid”:

She also managed to make herself look exactly like Mulan:

We swear she’s a dead ringer for Cruella de Vil in this photograph:

Her skills aren’t limited to human characters, either. Here she is as Scar the lion:

She’s recreated a lot of characters online, but her works from “The Little Mermaid” are truly amazing.

Her work doesn’t stop at just Disney characters, though. She served up plenty of Halloween inspiration, posing as Pennywise from “It” and Sally from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” She makes for one scary clown:

Meanwhile, her Sally impersonation couldn’t be more spot-on:

Of course, this isn’t the only source of Disney inspiration online. There are plenty of Disney makeup tutorials on YouTube. Considering a live-action “Lion King” is in the works, you may need to know how to turn yourself into your favorite characters!

You can find Scar makeup tutorials on YouTube:

And there’s even some for Rafiki:

Some makeup and a little imagination can go a long way! What will you create?
